Sovereign Soul Counseling | Lindsey Stanley | Texas

hi there, i’m

Lindsey Stanley
MA, LPC
Texas Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor

Mansfield, Texas

I am

Let’s be real—life is messy, brains are noisy, and emotions can feel like a dumpster fire some days. That’s where I come in. I’m Lindsey, a Licensed Therapist who specializes in helping people just like you untangle the overwhelm of ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and trauma—in a non-traditional way. I’m a therapist for people who have tried traditional talk therapy and need something different. I am a therapist for people, who hate therapy. If you’re tired of therapists who nod and “hmm” you to death, you’re in the right place. Expect real talk, real attunement to you, and zero fluff. Whether you’re spiraling in your thoughts, drowning in emotional chaos, or stuck in the ADHD/BPD shame cycle, I’ve got you.

What if you could stop white-knuckling your way through emotional storms—and actually heal the parts of you that keep getting overwhelmed?

That’s where EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) comes in. If DBT helps you ride the waves of big emotions—things like anxiety, anger, shame, and emotional shutdown—EMDR helps you go deeper to rewire the emotional landmines that keep setting those waves off in the first place. But here’s the thing… You don’t just have one emotion or one story—you’ve got parts of you carrying different experiences, beliefs, and reactions. That’s where IFS (Internal Family Systems) comes in. IFS informed therapy helps you: Identify the different parts of you (like the part that panics, the part that shuts down, or the part that feels like they’re “too much”). Get curious instead of critical about why these parts show up. Build self-compassion so you can work *with* yourself, not *against* yourself. How They Work Together: **DBT** helps you manage emotions in the moment, so you can stay grounded when things feel overwhelming. **IFS** helps you understand why certain parts of you react the way they do, bringing compassion to those inner battles. **EMDR** helps you process the stuck memories and emotional wounds that keep triggering those parts and reactions. Together, they give you a complete toolkit to calm the chaos—both on the surface and at the root.

So if you’ve tried talk therapy but still feel like you’re stuck in old patterns, this might be the deeper work you’ve been looking for. **Let’s work together to help you move from just surviving to actually living with clarity, confidence, and peace.**
