get to know us

hi there, i’m
Mansfield, TX
Entering a season where children are growing up, leaving home, or building their own independent lives often brings a profound shift in identity and purpose. When the daily demands of hands-on parenting lighten, many women find themselves questioning what comes next, unaware of how to process the change, or reluctant to fill that new space simply by throwing even more energy into work. This transition can bring a complex mix of relationship stress, grief, and uncertainty about how you want to live the rest of your life. It is entirely normal to feel disconnected from your own interests, needs, and desires after decades of centering your attention on everyone else. This season offers a powerful opportunity to pause, take note of where you are, and figure out what a fulfilling next chapter looks like for you.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and grounded, emphasizing safety, healing, and self-discovery. Whether you are working through grief, managing relationship stress, or simply figuring out who you are when parenting is no longer your main daily focus, I provide a steady and compassionate space. Together, we will explore these changes, gain clarity on your priorities, and build a life that feels authentic, balanced, and peaceful.
When I’m not in session, I serve as a university social work professor. In my personal time, I enjoy daily walks outdoors, a warm cup of chai or coffee, and spending time with my family.
