get to know us

hi there, i’m
Englewood, Colorado
Life can look perfectly fine from the outside while feeling overwhelming on the inside. You may have spent years taking care of everyone else, pushing through difficult experiences, or convincing yourself you “should” be over something by now. Maybe you’re exhausted by anxiety, carrying the weight of childhood trauma, struggling in relationships, navigating a major life transition, or feeling disconnected from the person you want to be.
Whatever brought you here, it deserves more than simply getting through another day. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and create meaningful, lasting change.
I believe therapy should be more than having someone listen while you recount your week. It should help you understand why you think, feel, and respond the way you do while giving you practical tools to move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and intention. My style is compassionate, honest, and direct. I’ll challenge you when it’s helpful, support you when life feels heavy, and help you recognize patterns that once helped you survive but may now be keeping you stuck.
Healing isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about reconnecting with yourself, understanding the experiences that shaped you, and creating a life that aligns with your values. While therapy isn’t always easy, it can become one of the most meaningful investments you’ll ever make in yourself.
My path to becoming a therapist didn’t begin in graduate school. Like many of my clients, I sought therapy after navigating my own difficult life experiences. More than a decade ago, I experienced firsthand how transformative good therapy can be—not because it erased hardship, but because it helped me understand myself differently. That experience ultimately led me to this profession and continues to shape the way I practice today.
As a combat veteran and trauma therapist, I understand that healing isn’t about pretending the past didn’t happen. It’s about helping your nervous system recover, making sense of your experiences, strengthening your relationships, and building a future that isn’t defined by what you’ve been through.
Whether you’re struggling with trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, burnout, or simply feel stuck, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop lasting resilience, and create meaningful change that extends far beyond the therapy room.
