I am a military spouse and the mother of four wonderful children
During my years of motherhood I struggled to find my place in this world trying to strike a balance between motherhood and a career. This was an enormous hurdle given the fact my husband was active duty military the entire time. It took me years to find who I was amidst it all, and at times it was messy. I am not standing here today saying it was easy, but it was worth it. I know I am going to keep continuing to grow and learn and be the best version of myself.
I decided that it was time I used my experiences to help those struggling as well, regardless of what that was for them. I saw the growth inside myself, and I knew I wanted to help people and facilitate growth in them while walking beside them.
I joined this practice because I believe in being a part of something beautiful and productive. This practice embodies authenticity and a safe space for any person, and, with the right paperwork, aliens from outer space. (They have problems too, right?)
When I am not trying to change the world you can find me talking to my tortoise Larry, telling him jokes that my kids will not laugh at. You might find me dancing the night away while I also crack jokes that only I find amusing, followed by thrifting while I formulate my next dad joke.
