get to know us

hi there, i’m
cassi grinton
MA, LPCC
I am a mother, veteran spouse, animal lover, and holder of space for healing and growth
My background is in supporting children, survivors of abuse, and individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and challenges within the education system. I bring warmth and compassion into my work, and I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and understood. I believe that each person comes into therapy with inherent strengths, and I work to help clients recognize and build upon those strengths throughout our time together.
I deeply value the therapeutic relationship and believe in meeting clients exactly where they are. My approach is collaborative—we work together to explore present challenges while also gaining insight into how past experiences may be shaping current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I aim to foster a safe and trusting environment where meaningful growth and healing can occur.
I’m thoroughly inspired by the idea of a “sovereign soul.” It reflects the belief that each person holds an innate sense of worth, autonomy, and inner wisdom—even if life experiences have made those things difficult to access. Therapy can be a space to reconnect with that part of yourself, to rebuild trust in your own voice, and to step more fully into who you are.
I am committed to helping clients move toward healing, discover a sense of meaning in their lives, and live more authentically. My own therapeutic journey has been invaluable to me, and it continues to shape the way I show up in this work. I believe in the process of therapy because I am a product of that process, and I bring that perspective into the care and connection I offer each client.
Outside of sessions, you can usually find me spending time in nature, going on adventures with my family, and attempting to pet every dog I see. I’m an avid animal lover who enjoys running (especially when it’s over), playing soccer, hiking, laughing, reading, cooking, and listening to music.
